Who should attend?
Our MEWPs courses are perfect for beginners who wish to learn the basics of MEWP operation, or for experienced operators to refresh their skills. These courses can be conducted at our training centre or on-site at customer premises. We teach the basic skills that form the foundation for safe and efficient MEWP operation.
Course content
The content of this course provides, the following:
Health and Safety Responsibilities
Working at Height regs
Pre-use Inspection Procedures
Battery charging and truck refuelling
Manoeuvring in Restricted Areas
Operating the platform safely
Using correct and appropriate PPE
Final Theoretical and Practical Assessments
Course Duration 3 to 6 hours dependant on level of the candidates’ experience and type of equipment to be trained on.
Training Approach The training will be carried out using a combination of power point presentation, video and practical sessions.
Assessment Continuous assessment by trainer, practical exam and theory test at the conclusion of training.
Venue Fife Training Services or at a venue of your choice.
Certification On successful completion of the course and assessments a Fife Training Services MEWP operators’ certificate will be issued.
