Refresher Course: This is delivered to delegates who have documented certified experience on forklifts and require their training refreshed.
Proactive approach: A proactive approach with automatic re-testing every few years (e.g., 3-5 years) can be an effective way to ensure ongoing competence.
"The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) doesn't mandate specific intervals for forklift refresher training, but recommends periodic re-assessment and retraining, often suggested every 3-5 yearsor after events like incidents, changes in work practices, or extended periods of non-use. The frequency and content of refresher training should be determined by a risk assessment for your specific operation, considering the operator's skills, the type of equipment, and the operating environment to ensure continued competence and safety.
Forklift Training Duration: 1 Day refresher 9am - 4pm approx
Ideal Delegate Numbers: 3 maximum. This allows the instructor to focus equally on all delegates.
